Smokey effect on eye makeup?

i need tips on how to do it. its for my sisSmokey effect on eye makeup?
You will need 3 colors, light, medium, and a dark. Eyeliner and a good mascara. Start off with the lightest color of shadow and put it over the entire lid and up the the brow bone. Then with the medium color draw a triangle from the mid eyelid to the outer corner. Blend the shadow over the lid, making sure most of the concentration stays towards the outer corner. Line the eyes like normal extending the line on the upper lid slightly past the outermost corner. Take the darkest color shadow and go over the eyeliner. Top off with mascara and wha-la.

P.s I learned this from international make-up artist Chase Aston.Smokey effect on eye makeup?
Apply eyeliner and then smear it...

Also use a brown or black eyeshadow on the corner of your eyelids
Use a make-up brush for application, a fluffy or fan-shaped one with a head about the size of your thumbnail. You can also use a q-tip for for darker areas and your finger to feather the color out.

there are a lot of ways to do this, but when i do makeup for shows-im a makeup artist- make a medium line with a black eyeliner on the upper lid. use an eyeshadow brush to sweep black eyeshadow above the eyeliner, but not to much. use a gray eyeshadow up to lash line and the inner corner of your eyelid. you could use a white eyeshadow up to the brow if wanted. use the balck eyeshadow on the lower lash line. i hope this helps
black eyeshadow!
