?????????

if u know anything about eye makeup i seriously need some tipsHelp on Eye Makeup?
i would use a gold, bronze, or olive green shadow to complement your skin tone and eye color. i've never heard of gel eyeshadow, i believe you mean cream. The difference is that cream eyeshadow generally lasts longer, but can clog pores if they're not good quality, and take a little longer to put on. Also, powder shadows tend to come in a much wider range of colors, and are easier to find. If you are a beginner with makeup, i would suggest you start with powder eyeshadow.

To apply eyeliner: make sure you're in a well-lit room with a clean mirror, preferably one with some kind of counter, as it will be helpful to rest you're elbows on a flat surface to keep your hands from shaking. With one hand, put your pointer finger on the outer corner of your eye, and gently pull your eyelid flat, and with the other (this should be your dominant hand), draw as close to the lashline as possible, starting at the inner corner and working your way to the outer corner, getting a little thicker as you go. Continue the line a little past your actual eye. This takes some practice, but you'll get the hang of it!

You can find waterproof mascara at any drugstore, or if you're looking for higher quality mascara, at your nearest M.A.C. or Sephora store. for mascara that is really completely waterproof (even in the pool), smudgeproof, and super longlasting, try LORAC publicity stunt longwearing mascara from Sephora--expensive but worth it, for cheap mascara, look for Maybelline full and soft waterproof mascara in drugstoresHelp on Eye Makeup?
One of my personal favorites is mark. (www.meetmark.com) It's made for teenagers and is inexpensive, but is still high quality. I prefer powder eyeshadow; you take an eyeshadow brush and sweep it across the eyeshadow, and tap the brush a few times on the side of the container before applying. Gel is quite different and and too different for my liking. As for eyeliner, I need a bit more clarification as to which kinda (pencil, liquid, ect.) The universal rule to all eyeliner is that you start at the thinnest part of your eye (closest to the nose) and sweep the line smoothly to the outside of your eye. mark. also sells waterproof mascara, as well as a wide variety of quality mascaras. In my opinion, army greens and golds would compliment your complexion and eyes very nicely, as would a dark pink color.
we are the same!!!! i have golden brown eyes with olive skin. i use whatever eyeshadow goes with my outfit!!! it always looks good. i recomend powder eyeshadow because gel is sticky and nasty and u can sweat that off!!!! dont get waterproof mascara because it bugs!!! when i put eyeliner on i pull my eye down kinda and apply it in that part above the bottom of the eyelashes. yup yup thats what i do!!!
Any colour goes well with brown eyes, though it really depends on what you're wearing and what look you're going for. Gel eyeshadow is supposed to stay longer but if you've got oily skin, avoid it beacuse it will crease. You're safer with powder eyeshadow and you can apply it different ways. Assuming you'll go for a natural look. Sweep some white shimmery shadow on your eyelid, covering everywhere. Then choose a nice beige colour and apply it over the base, except the inner corner of your eye. Blend it well. Then pick a slightly darker more dramatic colour, such as brown and apply it halfway on your eyelashes ending with a flick at the end. Do the same on the upper crease of your eyesocket. It will be effective but not too much. You can do the same with other colours, just be sure to choose complimentary ones.

Then, apply mascara. I don't really like waterproof mascara as it clogs up more easily so I'd prefer a normal one. However, if you're still keen on it, just be sure to buy an eye make up remover especially for it because it can be a pain to take off. Apply your mascara in sweeping movements - wiggle the applicator at the base of your eyelashes because it will make them seem fuller. You can also apply eyeliner at the base of your upper eyelashes for this effect. Do it before the mascara.

Hope it helps :)

waterproof mascara is seriosuly a pain- dont use it!

and definitely dont put it on the bottom set of lashes- it looks tacky!

as for eyeshadow, use natural colours and powder is the best.

to apply eyeliner, just follow the rims of your eyes, where the lashes are.
