def just do a simple shimmer/glitter neutral eyeshadow (tan/light brown), but don't put on a lot like you're a beauty queen;people can tell when girls have makeup on; a little mascara, and a little eyeliner underneath the eye in the crease and you're set
if you want to get technical, you could put a darker brown color in the eyelid crease, and then sweep a white color underneath your eyebrow-thats basically itAny eye makeup help?
hey try going with a med brown that way your eyes will pop but not too much that is what i use.

That is a link to a really good virtual makeover tool. Just follow the directions and it will give you 3 looks, natural, classic and dramatic. It will also show you how to apply each color and what you need.
dont use eyeliner, just do mascara and a little bit of shadow.... for the rest of your face, u prob dont need foundation, it makes your skin look fake. just use blush and a pink lipgloss. hope that helped!!
Wear pink, peach and light brown eyeshadows also wear brown or gray eyeliner instead of black.
Try brown eye liner instead of black and use blue, green and gold eye shadow shades
For a soft, everyday look, usually eyeliner is not necessary. But for a formal event, eyeliner is perfect. Test your eyeliner pencil on your hand. If it doesn't go on nicely or it skips, your eyeliner is not of good quality.
Avoid eyeliner in a harsh black, instead, go for a darker version of the eyeshadow you'll apply over. Example, if you're about to apply a nice pale violet on your eyelids, try a dark plum or eggplant colored eyeliner.
Use your opposite hand to slightly pull the bottom of your eye down (but not too hard).
Unless you are completely and absolutely sure you can achieve it, eyeliner underneath your eye is quite unnecessary. If done incorrectly, it can make you look like a raccoon.
Apply your eyeliner just along the lash line. If not thick enough, apply a few more times, to your preference.
If your eyeliner looks harsh on your eyelid, you can soften your look by smudging with a Q-Tip.
When choosing your eyeshadow, it would be better to have around the opposite color of your eye to make your eyes stand out. For example, purple eyeshadow on green eyes make for stand-out eyes.
Apply your eyeshadow with a good makeup brush. Most eyeshadow kits come with brushes inside the little container. Do not trust these, but buy an individual set instead. A good brush is key also. You don't want streaks or for the brush to hurt your eyes!
Make sure the style is proper for the occasion. For a simple garden party, you wouldn't need a smoky eye.
Mascara must be the hardest piece of eye makeup to apply. Clumpy eyelashes are the bane of a woman's existence. Make sure to find the right shade and the right product for you. All of those commercials claiming 'no clumps' are mostly lies, but a good mascara can prevent clumpy lashes.
Before applying mascara, curl your lashes with a lash curler. Hold for around 10 seconds.
The best mascara in the world won't help you if you don't know how to apply mascara correctly. Take the wand out of the bottle and dab excess on a tissue paper.
Wiggle the wand at the roots of your eyelashes and sweep them as you reach the tips of your eyelashes. Don't just apply on the tips or it will make your lashes look horrible and destroy your naturally gorgeous eyes.
If lashes look clumpy, use an eyelash comb to separate lashes or to curl them upwards even more.
Enjoy your beautifully-done eyes!

Some Tips
To prolong your eyeshadow staying power use an eyeshadow base.A really good one is Urban Decay Primer Potion (UK 拢9.50, US $15.) Or you can use a good vitamin E cream (this also moisturizes your skin)
Practice makes perfect. Don't expect to get it perfect your first time around.
Reading how to do it is good, but showing is even better. Ask your family or friends how to apply properly and give you the names of good products.
Makeup is supposed to be fun. Don't stress too much if it didn't come out like you envisioned.
Experiment what you'd like to look like on that special occasion beforehand, so that when it's time to put it on, you're not completely clueless.
Experiment beforehand to know what colors look best on you. Pick colors that work with your skin tone and eye color, as well as your clothing.

Warnings
Do not get product in your eyes. Such chemicals could be hazardous.
Do not take your frustration or anger out at friends when your attempt didn't go exactly as planned.
Do not try liquid eyeliner until you are well experienced with a pencil! (You'll make a complete mess AND its hard to clean off of your face without messing up your other makeup.)
Do not use your lash curler after applying mascara. If you do this, your lashes can break!
Wash your makeup as soon as it is unnecessary. Do not leave makeup overnight.
Hope I Could Help =]
If you're wanting to go for a 'natural look' I suggest some neutral tones or maybe a soft orangish pink.
If you want color, but not looking like you overdid it try some soft colors or pastels of all colors. Never wear bright makeup to the point where it looks clownish.
If you want it to match your eye color, use golden browns, warm taupes, deep purples, soft peaches and soft violets
I like to get quads, with 4 colors that go well together. Here are the ones I use:

and, they last a long time.
if you want even more:
http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Eye/Ey鈥?/a>
and if you'd like it simpler:
http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Eye/Ey鈥?/a>
overall I don't suggest singles though. if you really want them you can easily find the link on maybelline.com
as for applying:
darkest: corner of eye
2nd darkest: crease (fold)
2nd lightest: lid
lightest: crease to eyebrow
its also labeled on the eyeshadow its self if youre using the quads.
And for eyeliner, try define-a-lash by maybelline.
as for eyeliner try brown instead of black and only use it lightly on top or bottom - not both.
