Another eye makeup question?

okay, so i was using just regular mascara, and it looked good when i put it on but within an hour its be gone and under my eyes, so to fix it i started using waterproof mascara about 5 monthes ago, and dont get me wrong, i have really long lashes but now they are starting to FALL OUT! what do i do?!!! suggestions please!!!!!!!!!Another eye makeup question?
Mascara should not make your lashes fall out not unless your not removing the mascara %26amp; rubbing your eyes really hard.


Are you putting mascara on both top %26amp; bottom lashes? If the answer to that is yes then that is your problem, you only use mascara on the top lashes for a more natural look.


If your lashes are naturally light %26amp; you use the mascara to darken them then I suggest you purchase some dyelash, dye your lashes %26amp; then as advised use the mascara on the topAnother eye makeup question?
maybe they are shedding and growing new ones.
If you have really long lashes stop useing mascara. Instead opt for a really nice eyelash curler somethime I give mine a quick swoop with the blow dryer so the curl stays longer. It will bring out your eyes with out the harmfull effects of the makeup.
Stop using it for a while, and try using a different kind of mascara that isn't water proof. After a while your eye lashes will be stronger and you won't pull them out or have them fall out as easily.
Use a lash conditioner on the lashes before applying the mascara to them. This will keep them strong and also keep them from breaking if that starts to be a problem as well. I would reccommend that you look at Sally's beauty supply, or a cheaper route would be the old faithful Wally World! :)

Asian eye makeup...plz help!!?

I have like, ';no eyelid'; and was wondering what type of makeup I should wear on my eyes (what color eyeshadow,if any etc.)Asian eye makeup...plz help!!?
I disagree with the person above me. You can wear darker colors if you like them, but in general darker colors will make your eyes appear smaller...esp if you were to do a traditional smokey eye where the eye is completley lined all the way around with a black pencil. I personally have the ';no eyelid'; as well and I have found ways to do shadows and liners to enhance the beautiful shape of our eyes. I work at Sephora so I have lots of makeup and try different techniques all the time..here is my favorite way of doing shadow though.





Start with a primer if you're going to do any bright colors. You can do any color you want from black to bright green...it's all about PLACEMENT. I like the urban decay primer the best. Next, put a base color all over the eye. I like Stila's Kitten shadow. It's a shimmery nude color...shimmery not glittery. The light base opens the eye....just like black clothing makes you appear smaller and white clothing makes you appear larger, it's the same concept with shadows. This will brighten your eyes. Since you don't have a crease, the distance from your lashline to your eye fold is generally longer...so you can do a thick eyeliner and not even see it. I know you know what I mean..the eyeliner dissapears, right? This is the area that you can have fun with colors or darker shadows because it only shows when you blink. I take a purple or a green after i line my eye and take it all the way up to the point where I can see it a little when my eyes are open. Depending on your eye..when you are looking straight into a mirror you either have a lot of space from your eye to your brows or a little bit of space....if you have a lot of space this is where you can ';create a crease'; if you'd like. I only do this because without it I've got too much skin showing. Feel your eye...right under your brow there is a bone...feel where the bone naturally goes in...this is your natural crease. That is where you can put a neutral tone (brown...grey) to give the eye depth and create a more dramatic look. I never put bold colors here or I get the whole clown look. So...looking into an angled mirror with this technique you should see your lashline...your liner...your darker/fun color..the lighter shimmery or irridescent color...and then the neutral color in the ';crease';.

asians do NOT look good with shiny bright colors on their eyes (green, pink, yellow, orange, etc), especially witout eyeliner, while caucasians can smear some pearly shadow %26amp; look beautiful!


i think that wit asians eyes, you should go for darker colors like grey black and brown. black eyeliner looks the best and for eyeshadow, try smokey colors or a mixture of different browns. if you want something shiny, get a metallic dark colored eye shadow

I would say greeny blue to make them suit your eyecolour so I would suggest Collection 2000 Dazzle Dust in turqoise (拢2.99),I have the exact same colour eyes as you and it really suits me!

Gorgeous. Get some smokey grey kohl eyeliner. Smudge it underneath your lower lashes. use liquid eye liner around your top eye lid and flick it out, and try to keep it as thick and straight-level as possible, then use normal kohl pencil or eye liner on the bottom of your eye, but try to keep it looking dark but thin,

So first, make sure all other makeup is taken off. Start with black eyeliner as close as you can to your top lashes. Make a thick coating, and take it a little past the outer corner of your eye. Apply very dark shadow to the top of your eye, and then put black eyeliner close to your bottom lashes. Finally, apply mascara to your top and bottom lashes.

Use Mark. ';Metalliliner'; and Cover with Mark.eyeshadow ';Corset';. Make in a thin line close to lashes and blend outward. Mark. is the only makeup I've used that can achieve this look and not smear as you wear it and it blends well so you don't get that choppy or cakey look. Use it for professional results. I would do a few curls on top and throughout your hair, keeping your hair parted, and maybe pinning your bangs to the side with a pink bobby-pin or even a black/brown one. As for your makeup, liquid eyeliner on your eyelid looks really sharp. Drag the tip out a little from the outer corner of each eye. Put some eyeliner on the bottom. Brush the pink across your eyelid after your eyeliner dries. Make it really shimmery and noticeable in your eye crease, then sweep a little of it up to your eyebrow to make it shimmer. Put a little bit of eyeshadow from the corner of your eye along your bottom along the eyeliner. If you have sparkles then sprinkle a few on the eyeshadow. Put a lot of black mascara on after that. The best brand of eyeliner is Maybelline's Liquid Eyeliner in Black. I know from experience that it stays on the best and is the best quality. If you're worried about not being able to apply liquid eyeliner use PONDS makeup remover pads and use that after you apply the eyeliner to remove whatever parts you messed up on. The best thing about those two products is that they're pretty cheap. I think the eyeliner costs about $6 and the remover pads are about $4. My favorite mascara is Loreal's feather lash because it doesn't clump together. Finally, the best eyeshadow would have to be MAC, just because of it's variety of colors. Hope this helps! ( :

You have beautiful eyes and i see you like to use a heavy liner.


My suggestion to you is that you use brown instead of black to give you a softer look.


For my money, Maybelline has a good product for the money. The mascara should be water-proof.


Remember, the eyes are the mirror to the soul so think happy thoughts.


Also, use sun glasses to protect your eyes from sun induced problems like cataracts and macular degeneration.
MAC is a really good eye makeup brand. Maybelline makes good mascaras and liquid eyeliners. L'oreal also does. If you like higher end makeup, dior and chanel are really quite expensive, but good quality brands. I also like revlon's colorstay eyeliner a lot.
Well I can't really tell from the picture but... I would recommend a brand called Benefit they have some great pigmented cream shadows and they're owned by Louis Vuitton.
Marcelle works really really well, and doesnt smudge, Plus it's really inexpensive and you can get it at any drugstore!

A light line of black pencil eye liner, so you can hardly see it (bottom and upper lashes so make look thicker). Put a couting of candy pink ( sparkly or not) on the eyelid. Then put a white shadow over the top of the eye lid and blend with the pink. This should make it look pink and getting lighter as it goes up the eye lid. Then coat lashes in mascara ( top, quite heavy, bottom lightly). This would make a nice chilled summery look.

I think that if you used a very light bronze color on your cheeks, and mascara, and a gold and brown , then a little eyeliner, your eyes would be very noticeable. If you don't want it that much, then I'd suggest leaving out the blush. Hope this helps!

I have dark olive skin, as you can kind of see in my picture, so this is some of the stuff i use.


You could try a charcoal or plum pencil eyeliner but stay close to the lash line. If you really want to enhance the lash line then use a liquid one.


For eyeshadow you could try greens,browns, and different shades of blue(not brights). Try to stick with the neutral colors. Then a little mascara.

sounds like take the day off would be more effective, as the other one is described as ';gentle';. but personally i like estee Lauder ... or however you spell that. Tugging at your eyelashes is probably based on how hard you wipe your eyes. Acne shouldn't be a huge problem, as its usually not right around the eye area

This is a product of liquid liner which is stretched far from the eyes and some bright shadow. It is definitely a great look but requires a lot of expertise.
She highlights her brown bone with a shimmery white ( You can usually find these duos from Maybelline). Then, she uses a brown kinda color try and look for Dream Mousse from Maybelline 20 Suade sensation) looks about the right color. Close your eye and then just cover the lid with your finger, then with a shadow brush, lift upwards tward the brow bone for a blending look. Then, with any great eye liner I prefer Loreal BLACK, pull your lid tight and line entirely to the very edge of the eye. Line your water line as well. That is the inner bottom lid. And the line on your lower lashes only at the backs of them, take your finger and smudge outward to get the cat eye. Then, you will find how it looks and darken it in with your eye liner pencil. Repeat on your second eye. Then, get an eyelash curler and curl your lasy, then immediately apply mascara. Repeat on second eye.

her eyeliner seems to be tightlined AND done regularly on the top, her eyeliner is stretched out from the outer corners of her eyes, some fake lashes(normal ones do not grow that long) some brown shadow for the bottom half of the eyes and highlighting white shadow below the browbone, some more highlighting powder on the inner corners of the eyes
She uses a proffessional make up artist.
Its literally like an orangey brown eyeshadow brushed on in that way, black eyeliner put on like that and then a really good lash lengthening mascara or fake lashes.

1.Apply a neutral coloured eyeshadow. One that's nearly identical to your skin colour or a bit of foundation over your eyelids to give you a ';blank canvas';.

This is a revlon eyeshadow powder that comes in a liquid eyeliner pot for smoky eyes. Try Brown or the jade colour to be a bit more subtle.

4. Then line as close to your bottom lashline as you can with the powder liner, make sure the line is no less obvious than the one above.


5.Apply a coast of brown or black mascara (it's your choice).


6.Apply another coat if needed but wipe the wand on a tissue first to get rid of clumps.


7.If you have smuged this down your face then take the corner of a makeup wipe or a qtip dipped in makeup remover and gently sweep of any excess.

That's pretty much it. You can control how much eyeliner and eyeshadow you wear so it's not too dark. You can also use the smudge pot as eyeliner too by dipping your brush in. I think they're pretty much essential for that type of eye-makeup.

Easy, simple eye makeup?

I'm not very good at using eyeshadow, but I'd like to learn. How can I do a simple, good-looking eye makeup with eyeshadow and mascara? I have brown/hazel eyes.


I'd like to use a golden, shimmery eyeshadow, and also a darker, smokey eye with brown eyeshadow.

1. You should get a good type first. If you want pencil, try maybelline. I don't know which, but it has a smudger included.


If you want liquid, use Maybelline too. xD


Okay, so for pencil, what I do is I close one eye and look in a mirror. (it doesn't have to be all the way closed.)


Look where your lashes 'start.' (the base of your lashes)


Try to draw a line on the base of your lashes. The good thing about this if you go a tad above the base of your eyelashes, it still looks amazing.


Another way to do it is to keep your eyes open and do it.


To smudge it, take the smudger and just slide it over the line.


2. Don't ever keep adding it. This causes clumps.


Use something like Max Factor or CoverGirl Mascara.


Place the wand at the base of your eyelashes and 'zigzag' up to the tip. Try to use more mascara on the base of your lashes, but only just touch the tips.


Apply one or two coats and let dry in between.


Once it's dried, take an eyelash comb and sepperate your eyelashes.

usually celebs use false eyelashes, but benefits black masacara is good and no dont keep on applying it only do it 3 or 4 times at the most otherwise it just clumps up and makes you look like you have very short eyelashes. for the eyeliner pull your eyelid back so it looks liek your squinting the lightly put the eyeliner on for the top lid though i recommend liquid eyeliner alot ppl dont even think about trying it because ty have a shaky hnd but if you pull your eye back and squint it is really easy
Make sure you press the edge of your eye liner so it is thinner and is more sharper (which helps to keep the nice, clean line). Follow the eye-lash outline of the top lid and don't over do it.





Mascara: I do believe they use fake eye-lashes but not the whole eye lash, they take small parts of it and put it in between the natural lashes, so it doesn't look fake.

Curling your lashes opens up your eyes.


Black mascara ONLY on the top lashes opens up your eyes.


White eyeliner gives the illusion of larger eyes (on the bottom inner rims)

Before I started using primer my shadow would crease within the hour, within 2 hours I had a line of shadow when I blinked and that was it. Oils from your brows and lashes are the culprit. Yes, it does. It makes your eye shadow color vibrant, and it makes your eye shadow color stay like that all day. My favorite primer is Too Faced Shadow Insurance. People always compare it to Urban Decay Primer Potion because the price is the same and the results are very very similar. But I prefer Too Faced because it comes with .01 oz more and due to UDPP's packaging, it's hard to get all the product out, so when you're almost done w/ it, you have to depot it. TFSI's packaging is just a tube.
yes primer helps to stay the eyeshadow and makes more vibrant. i was confused about primer too. i didnt buy a actual primer yet because one of the double wear eye shadow from estee lauder i v purchased worked same as any primer. it is their eyeshadow cream , 06 Ivory Lace. it works with any skin tone and awsome. it will last u forever. use it as an eyeshadow base. no difference.
Yeah, I love eyeshadow primer. It makes it last longer and makes the color deeper. I know Clinique sells eyeshadow primer but I think that it is called eyeshadow base. But you can get it online at Sephora.com. They say that the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion is the best kind out there. You can even get it in different colors. They have a shimmering nude color or a champagne color.

To be honest primer is just like foundation for your eyes but i think concealer works better and is usually cheaper as all the big brands sell it. Its a thicker formula which means it will probly stay on longer and i always use a bit on my eyes before putting eyeshadow on. Hope this helps (:
Yes primer does work. But it depends on the ingrediants in it. Some primers work for me. Some don't. It depends on which one you use. If you want a cheap one, use L'oreal Decrease. If you want a more expensive one, use: Bare Ecsentuals Eyelid primer
Some primers do work... MAC brand def does but i'm not really sure of the others... i havent tried many but I know MAC does.

I think wearing a lot of eye liner will take away from your look rather then add to it.





Try using a lot of dark shadows, such as dark purples mixed with grey tones. Use a bit of black eye liner just above the lash line, and a pencil eye liner in the crease of your bottom lash line. Don't forget about black mascara! This will add and complete your look.

Too much eye liner will just take away from your look. But with the right shadows you can create the dark, smokey look, will accenting to your eyes.

i dont really know how to explain it but, like i just keep going over the same thin line i made in the beginning till its the darkness i want it to be at . just make sure to stay on that line because if you go down under that line then you make the line to thick and it looks like youre dead. (:

first put eyeliner on your waterline


then put somemore eyeliner on your waterline at the top [you have to lift ur eyelid to get to it]

and then do the same with the bottom of your eye but make sure its really close to your eyelashes cause you dont want a gap


it might take a while until u know how to do it perfectly but practice makes perfect :)

I usually put on a light eyeliner that is a complimentary color to my eyes. I have green eyes..so I wear lavender eyeshadow or eyeliner(green and purple are opposites...well...almost anyway). Or...if you REALLY want to get wild. I put on my opposite color on the inside of my eyelid (near nose) and then follow through with green eyeshadow(my eye color). I have gotten ALOT of compliments (especially from guys).
There are some very light and natural mascaras that are made, it sounds like you don't care for mascara...I never used to either until I expirimented with some different kinds. Try Neutrogena's Weightless Wax-Free mascara. You can hardly tell it's on. Other than that, maybe you can expiriment with some eye shadows as well.

if you have brown eyes you should wear some plum colored eyeliner and put a light shimmery purple on your eyelids... and if you want to dust a darker purple on the outer edges of your lids. it makes your eyes look heavy without actually having to load on tons of makeup. but thats if you have brown eyes..

Hm , you can try using a purple color for your eyelid %26amp; add some black for your smokey eye that'd be cute .
get 3 shads of purple n do a smokey eye with the liner u already have, n a nude lip
If you still want to go for the heavy eye make up, then smokey eyes should do the trick! Or go for the 50's eyeliner and red lippy look.


They're both really simple to do!


For the smokey eye, you would basically need three different types of eye shadow, a really dark one i.e. black a medium tone shadow, could be a pale grey, and a really light one, like baby pink...


When you moisturise your face, make sure you put a teeny bit on the skins around your eyes. This way, it gives the shadows something to grab onto..! Also while you're there, prepare your lips too, i.e. put some Vaseline on them (protects them)!


So:


Step 1) put some foundation on around your eyes...this is just a base.


Step 2) apply the medium tone shadow onto you eyelid up to your crease.


Step 3) apply your darkest eyeshadow on your top lash line...make sure that you really pack as much of it on but don't make a huge thick black line!


Step 4) put a teeny bit of your lightest shade on your brow bones


Step 5) use a clean eye shadow brush (if you have a smudger brush then use that) and blend in the colours together. Whilst you're blending the colours together, try and round off the colours together at the corners of your eyes....


Step 6) with the brush you've just used, dip it in the darkest eye shadow and lightly apply it to your bottom lash line.


Step 7) apply your pencil eye liner, mascara and lip gloss. After that you're DONE!





Or the 50's eye liner and red lippy.


For this you would ideally need liquid black eye liner and a really hot shade of red lip stick.


Step 1) Moisturise your eyes and put some foundation on it too


Step 2) Apply the liquid eye liner on the top lash line and do a flick at the end...Literally a flick, but do it slowly because you want to get them both even!


Step 3) Use your pencil liner and do your waterline


Step 4) Apply you lipstick on


Step 5) Make sure you're not going to have lip stick teeth by doing the lipstick test! (Simply stick a finger in your mouth and wrap your lips around your finger. Then pull your finger out. Should do it a couple of times to to make sure) After that you're DONE!

White eyeliner, widens and brightens the eyes, use a highlighter under the brow and in the outer and inner corner of the eyes. A good one is HighBeam by Benefit, if you have fair skin or MoonBeam if you have darker skin.


Do not use dark liner or eyeshadow on the bottom of the eye, as this will make you look tired, place dark eyeliner or shadow on the top lash line - to make lashes appear thicker.


Invest in a good mascara, Max Factor Masterpiece Max, is an amazing one - place it on the top lashes only and the outer corner of the bottom lashes to avoid creating dark circles under eyes.


Also invest in a good eyelash curler, heated ones are the best and many makeup artists use them.


Use a shimmering eyeshadow to bring out eyes - purples look beautiful on hazel/green eyes, blues pop brown eyes and peaches look lovely on blue eyes. I suggest a Bare Minerals eyeshadow, powders always last longer and crease less, I use 'cupcake' eyeshadow by them on my hazel eyes and it looks killer.

wear lengthening mascara


wear a light colored eyeshadow (i like a sparkly light tan or sparkily light blue)...sparkly eyeshadows make your eyes appear to sparkle..which is really pretty


but don't overdo the eyeshaow


also make sure you are using a good concealor that covers up dark circles or any redness
Put a dark colour eye-pencil/liner on the upper lid, but only on the far side of your face. (From the middle of your eye to the outer eye!)


Use white eye liner on the inside rim of the bottom of your eye.


Stay away from really dark eyeshadows as this will make your eyes appear smaller.


Use some white eye shadow just under your eyebrow and on the inside of your inner eye.


Only use Mascara on the upper lashes!
Use white eyeliner. =]


Works wonders.

It's really simple, use a very pale eye shawow on the inside of your eyelid and a darker one at the outside and blend. The use dark eyeliner on your top and bottom lids, but only draw the line 3/4 of the way across. Then use a shimmery liner (gold, silver, bronze or pink) to finish off the lines.





Add lots of mascara, use heated eyelash curlers if you have them, and your good to go!

Hmmm... I have brown eyes, and I use a dark green and work my way up towards the top of my eyelid, just maybe a few centimeters under my eyebrow, but I make it fade out into another color like gold. Another type would be an all natural type. Take a pink, and apply it to your eyelid. The, take a brown, and DO NOT PUT ON TOP OF PINK. Put it just above. Take a tan, do the same. I have used tons of removers! I like to use babyoil. Yes, it is oily but you can use toilet tissue to wipe off the remaining bit of oil.


I may be wrong for using this,, but I have dry eyes instead of oily.


I find that it it a lot quicker, because I use a lot of mascara. and I don't want to have to tug on my eyes to get off the mascara.

I love Cliniques make up remover it's for eye make up as well as any other makeup. It's gentle and works the best I have found. I have tried Maybaline, Este Lauder, and Cover Girl's remover and Clinques doesn't sting my eyes or leave a greasy goo after I have washed it off. I have used the Take the Day Off Make Up Remover for Lids, Lashes, %26amp; Lips. But they have other remover products you may find you like better. I use their skin care line as well and it's wonderful too! I buy mine at the Macy's beauty counter but you should be able to find them at any department store or order online through the link below. 1. For great looking eyes make sure to use powder shadows for a natural look and a eyeliner pencil for drama at night. Make sure the liner has a smudge tip at one end to get that smoky eye look. Hey what you need to try I have blue eyes also,Is the maybelline expert eyes been using it forever.hold the corner of ur eye were they are squint eyes . Then use the pencil it sharpens on its on and kinda like liquid but ain't. Then when that is do the other same way,on bottom hold bottom of eye down,and color the bottom lid.


Now that gives you a cat looking way,the eyelash use the mascara in the purple either cover girl or maybelline I can't remember. OMG!I can totally help! Ok. From my experiences, pencil eyeliner is easier to apply because when you have the brush, your hand could move and easily mess it up. but when you use a pencil, you are more controlled, and it goes on smoother. I recommend Avon, but whatever works for you. And try to avoid really cheap stuff cause often, it doesn't work. Try to stay medium expensive, because paying too much for make up is ridiculous.


And to make blue eyes pop, you could wear simple shades of sparkly silver eyeshadow and black eyeliner. Silver and black goes good with almost any color.
ok well to make your eyelashes look longer and thicker i would use mascara ( black colour) eye liner is a tricky thing to do just keep on practising over or tell someone else to do it for you. To get it off use baby oil ( i allways screw up on my eye liner and get ride of it with baby oil) to make blue eyes pop out hmm i would wear brown or purple or pink! those look nice with blue eyes but i don't know if you eyes will stick out!

If your eyelashes are short, you can make them look long by curling them with an eyelash curler. you can get one at target for less than five bucks. if you are trying to get eyeliner under the eye, apply it to the ledge of the lid above the eyelashes. but be careful not to get it in your eye. If you can't get it off you can use an oil free eye makeup remover. Mary kay makes an awesome one. You can get almost the same thing for 5 $ at Target. If you want to make blue eyes pop try wearing a blue shirt that matches your eyes. Also, use a contrasting color, like purple or a light blue. good luck.

Well personally what i think would suit you is if you use a little bit of Ivory Dream Matte Mousse and rub it into your skin , then with your eyes around the eyelid near the ashes outline it in black eyeliner than above that on your eye lid use a shimmery blue and shimmery green blending it in together and finish with thin eyeliner itll look great! =)

because they want to make their eyes look ah-mazing. lol. i think it's because adults and parents have gotten more lax with rules regarding letting their daughters use make-up, so they take advantage of the privelage. plus most of the time that they go crazy, it's at a sleepover and they're giving each other make-overs. most of the time girls actually DO go natural and call it a day. at least at my school ;)

get one of those lil eye brushes and u should use a shimmer black on tip and a tannish color on ur lid but make sure u dont put to much black...Eye makeup tips?
I get a lot of compliments on my eye makeup..this is what I do: I use a lighter(usually shimmery) color all over my lids,I apply a darker shade on the outer corners and a little in the crease and use the same darker shade along my bottom lashes.I then line the upper lashes with black eyeliner..make sure it's not too thick of a line and it's very close to your lashes.I line the lower inner lash line with the same liner and also put some along the lower lashes and I smudge it into the shadow I applied there. I finish with mascara on both upper and lower lashes and VOILA..sexy smokey eyes that will get you lots of compliments!Just make sure you use a very light lip color(i use a light pink shimmery gloss) with a very smokey eye or it will be a little over the top.
A more mature look would be something more natural. Less is more. Im still young, but I use BLACK eyeliner on top and bottom, thick lines at that. Then I put on a beige/white eyeshawdow, and then BLACK mascara on top and bottom, but that's because I have a long lashes that are blonde, so when I do that, it widens my eye, and makes it stand out a lot!





But for a mature look, try just using a really light eyeliner, and a lightly apply some eyeshawdow, green eyes = purple, etc. Then just put some mascara on the top. If you don't like it, keep playing around.
In order to actually answer this question and help you - There are a few key things that I need to know.


1) How old are you?


2) What is your skintone like? ie dark, light, olive


3) What is your hair and eye color?


4) What kind of look are you going for? ie day, night, casual, formal





Try looking through the web-site below. They have tons of quizzes and other resources to help you out.
What's your age? If you're 18 or older, yes, use eyeliner on top and bottom. Don't do it too thick or your eyes will look small and not natural. Always use 2 base colors all over the lid, then use an accent color (I use purple or brown, depending on my mood or outfit). Start in the middle of the lid and slant the accent color down into the corner of your eye. Then put a light shimmer over your whole lid. Accent with a shimmery light color under your brow.
I do a bunch of different thing with my eye make-up. My sister was a beautician so I learned from her. If you want to make your eyes pop, then do dramatic black eyeliner on bottom and thicker on top lids, and black mascara. Leave the rest of your face natural in color or light pink, such as your blush...but don't do this for an interview...leave in light for an interview. Using color also makes eye dramatic...but if you wanna look older then the good ol' simple black eyeliner thinly on your lids it depend on your preferences if you wanna do both lids..but generally I look more mature with both of them lined.
BOTTOM AND TOP JUST ON THE TIP
Well wat i do is put black on my bottom then put a pink eyeshadow on my top then line it with brown (and of course mascara) i get alot of compliments on it. i hope it works for you!
expiriment a bit try using some liquid liner above your lashline and try a bunch of different colors try to match the colors together to see what combination brings out your eyes

i put a neutral eyeshadow on, and then eyeliner just on my lower lid from the center out. this makes my eye appear larger. then i finish with mascara, careful not to use to heavily. remember less is more and a natural look is more grown up. good luck and have fun.

If you are looking for a dramatic look for evening then yes put the liner on both the upper and lower. However for day time i would suggest no liner and put light brown eyeshadow in the crease of your lid to get a dramatic daytime look. it works really well. Hope this works .Good Luck.

It would probably be best if you had black eyeliner to bring out your hazel eyes.
Try dark blue or dark green instead of black or brown. Use pink/purple shadows to make them pop
try a lavender eye color. It may sound really wierd now but t will make your eyes stand out. Also, get those revelon color paletes. If you buy the eye shadow for the certian color eye, they also tell u what eyeliner works. Personally, I think eyeliner is useless. Good luck.
i would choose the brown if you have green eyes just make sure that it's not like a re-dish brown because it will make you look like you have circles under ur eyes.
Lilac or purple eye pencil might be very attractive on you. But some people, such as myself, are allergic to the blue in eye pencils and purple is partly blue, partly red. I have similar coloring and used to love wearing purple until I got sensitive. So if your lids peel, you're probably allergic.

try a sable color if you really must or an olive
Depending on your skin color the color of eye liner can vary, for something different, try an forest green or other shades of green to bring out your eyes but use sparingly and do not line both top and bottom that will only make your eyes look small. Also you could turn your favorite eyeshadow into eyeliner by dampening an angle eyeshadow brush and dip into a cake eyeshadow and push the color into your lash line, this works on both top and bottom lids. what about a soft black or light brow.. the goldish would sort of blend in with your skin.. and sometimes it's not just the eyeliner that can brighten your eyes, it's the eyeshadow too. Maybe that's what your having problems with. I would go to macy's or bloomingdales and go to a makeup consultant and ask them what the best color eyeshadow to bring out your eyes.

Try a green. To make your eyes stand out make sure to use a color from the opposite side of the color wheel. MAC makes really great colours.

try the black eyeliner, but dont over doo it.. put a simple line top and bottom. then your done.. it brings the hazel eye color out more than anything else.. ive got hazel eyes and thats awesome.. =D





also for eyeshadow.. you should try a bronzed color and darken it up towards the outside and as you move towards the inside let it fade to nothing.. it brings you eye color out grreat! and it makes everyone look at your eyes, and that takes away any mishaps you may have..

Reddish brown or something that looks like burnt sienna. Then it also makes a difference if you are using a eyeshadow. If you are then try the Almay collection that includes the liner, and shadows together, that way you can have a better selection. You really don't want the color of your liner to be too close to the color of your eyes, there is supposed to be variation between the two so that your eye color makes more impact than the make-up.
Dark is your only choice
for ur colour i would advice blue..purple...never brown or gold!
Black eyeliner is always sexy because my girl always wears it when we go out.

No, it' not liquid eyeliner. First, a very good dark black mascara, then a good dark black eyeliner (like a pencil eyeliner, a kohl one) around your eyes (and inside, on the inner down portion of the eye) and then an eyeshadow: blue or purple or mauve.Eye makeup question!!?
get an eyeshadow brush wet and dip it in eyeshadow then line your eyes. then use a different brush and a different shade of eye shadow and blend from the lash line out. just make sure you dont use too dark of a color. find something that suits your skin tone

Well if your eyes change color with what you wear, you should wait to see what matches (make sure the eyeshadow matches your clothes, it looks best).
Its proven to use browns and golds on blue eyes to make them pop! Do not use the same color as your eyes. Smokey eyes look nice, or a suddle brown.
for blue eyes if you really want them to pop out and look great the color you should use is gold or orange. it really makes blue and green eyes POP.
I think that since you have blue eyes that a light blue color would look really good. Then again it depends on what you are gonna wear!
gold or a subtle purple would make them go WOW cuz its the opposite color on the spectrum

i always seam to think that brides should wear white eyeshadow but thats just me. So my sugestion is that you sould wear white eyeshadow to match the dress itself not the beeds because people wont notice that they will notise the dress more and that is what you want to go for. what i like to do is wear black eyeliner, black mascara, and black eyeshadow on my eyelids, and under my eyes.
I work for Clinique and what I like to do with my eyes to make them ';dramatic'; is put the light shade all over the eye right up to under the brow and then in the crease of the eye and up i use the dark shadow with a lighter accent under the brow again. So dark on top but light on the bottom with a dark eyeliner on the lid and under the eye and of course black mascara.
go to the nearest Sephora or MAC counter. i use the Diorshow Unlimited Blue mascara which really brings out the blue and u can use a blue fluidline from MAC. that's a really cool look. ^_^

I've often found that whenever I wear mascara and glasses, the mascara ends up getting smudged all over the lenses, so you have black marks on your glasses!!





I'd definitely go for eyeliner since it won't end up on your lenses. Plus it's a little less subtle than mascara, so it will be more noticeable under your glasses.

How about finding out why she won't let you have both? Is it because she thinks it is too much? Show her it is not.....If you lashes are brown or blond by a brown-not blk mascara...so she will see it is to define them not over exaggerate. And she will see you can look natural. Same with the eyeliner, take small steps, with mom...if she is worried about you wearing all black and it being too ';heavy'; then for now either get a dark brown, which can look great if applied right, or a gray or even blak but don't put too much on, try putting it on lightly then use a q-tip to lighten. Show her how it looks together, and sit down and talk to her about this. Tell her it makes you feel better about yourself, and that you are not out to look slutty or more ';mature'; than what you are, Mothers will listen and she sounds as if she is just concerned with you growing up too fast...keep in mind she was once your age, so she's been through it. Just not to lash out if she still says no...She needs to see you can be mature and responsible...just prove to her u can.....And if all else still fails, then do what makes you feel the best.....I wear glasses sometimes, but with my eyes I feel naked without eyeliner.....so go by what you feel, if your lashes are real short and real light then go with mascara...and if they r not then try the eyeliner and see how that makes you look and feel. I have glasses and I know it can be weird to wear mascara with glasses, but if you have a problem with it, try curling your eyelashes. Well it depends on your experience with eyeliner. Personally I would suggest gel eyeliner as it applies a lot easier that cream eyeliner. It has a Sleek brush which enables you to apply with ease. Cream eyeliner often comes out bumpy and feels greasy. Also gel eyeliner is a lot more long lasting, cream eyeliner crumbles and often have to keep re-applying.

I'd definitely say gel liner because it's more precise. Cream liner can be clumpy and difficult to deal with, so after more experience with gel eyeliner you would probably be able to use it better.
I find both work well when applying with an angled brush. Smashbox's Jet Set liner goes on super smooth and is water-proof, making it last much longer than regular liners.

Eye makeup allergy ?

Every time I use eye makeup, my eyes get really itchy. Does anyone know of a good hypoallergenic makeup line? I've tried Clinique, Mary Kay, and several cheaper store brandsEye makeup allergy ?
I sell Mary Kay so let me try this one....generally speaking if you have that reaction to eye shadows you are most likely allergic to red dye that is in alot of eye shadow. My reccomendation would be to talk to your consultant about what you have tried. She can speak to our medical department to find out what you should try. I would try eye primer before your eye shadow. This will help put a barrier between your eyes and the shadow. Be sure that you are moisturizing well and avoid red dyed colors. Try browns but not red brown. I would be happy to talk to you about specifics for you and consult the medical department if you like. Most of Mary Kay's products are formulated as non comedogenic (blemish forming) So if you are breaking out there is another issue. Alot of people choose the wrong skin care for their skin. Be sure you are using a skin care line formulated for dry/ oily/ combination/ or normal skin. Let me know if I can help in any other way.

ok i think black eyeliner would look awesome on your eye color. use it on the bottom, on your waterline (if you don't know what that is, its the area right above your bottom eyelashes). you could also try silver eyeshadow, that would look really cool =) i hope i helped!Eye makeup question!?
green and purple go really good with that color eyes. my friend has that color of eyes and she look great with green or purple. At alta they have a kit specially for green eyes and thats what my friend has(it doesnt have purple in it but it has the green) hope i helped!
The smoky look goes with almost any eye color. You could try that or, if you want, pick a contrasting neon as your liner and apply it the way you would black liner for cat eyes. Your neon colors would be blues and purples.Hope I help!

well ok here's the step by step:


line the top and bottom of your eye.


smudge the top line


take a dark color (preferably black) and apply in side strokes from the bottom of your lid to the crease so that the color goes from darker to lighter


apply in a small area around the very outside of the crease and outside corners of your eyes.


apply mascara...

Summer eye makeup help?

This winter I have been doing lots of dark eye makeup, blacks greys and purples. I love it. I want that rocker look, but I don't think dark colors will look too good this spring and summer, so what should I do? I still want that rock and roll look. Pics would be greatSummer eye makeup help?

You have such pretty eyes, I really think just a little mascara is enough. But I know there are great colors that can really enhance. I would go(after Christmas!) down to the mall and get a free consultation from one of the makeup counters, one of the really good ones. Brown Eyeliner

Creamy shimmery light brownish eyeshadow (light pink might work as well)
i would do a smokey gray mixed with an olive green. also, for your skin, try a hydrating moisturizer and a rose colored blush. if you do too much bronze and gold, it could make you look too shiny.
you should use earth tone eye shadows and use a dark brown eye liner so it should make your eyes stand out and then use a black mascara
purple or moss green (especially since you have tan skin).
You have beautiful eyes and almost any of the above suggestions would probably work. Given that you are not much of a make up wearer, I'd suggest pick a look and PRACTICE. You are probably getting frustrated because you do not have a sure trained hand. You can only do one or two looks at a time before your eyes start getting sore. So every night before you wash your face, PRACTICE a look. Maybe on a saturday you can go at it twice.





Since your eyes are kind of brownish or hazelish....PURPLES are alway a winner.

Purple. Your eyes look like mine so I would know. Purple eyeshadow does the trick for me.
Black eyeliner looks best on people with hazel eyes(almay has this all on there website) with black mascara, and light pink eyeshadow on the lid, brown on the crease, and a shimmery white on the brow bone. Go to almays website and that should help a lot. Then go out and look/buy their products...i have them and they work awesome, %26lt;3 them. Hope i helped :D Good luck!

Well, the gold you're wearing really does look good, but here's a list:


SHADOW: gold, bronze, brown, green, light pink/peach, white (in moderation), creamy yellow (vanilla)


LINER: purple, brown, shimmer bronze


MASCARA: brown, black, green, purple,clear





Trust me, the stuff you are wearing looks good on you. I promise. It's sort of a goldy-green, so it brings out the colors of your eyes well. Why are you so frustrated? I'm confined to blues, browns, golds, and vanilla colors. Yuck! The world is open to you, go for it. I think it's meybelline that has it, but it's this beautiful palette of four colors, and would look great on you. Actually any of those palettes would. So, it's in a blue case with a clear top, and the shadows have writing on them, telling you where to put them (lid, crease etc.) buy a couple of those in the colors I mentioned, and you'll be set!

ur eyes are really nice i would suggest some nice bronzish tones but if you want dramatic try some deep purples
