Help with applying eye makeup.?

i like to wear dark eyeshadow to give a ';rock'; look, but i am useless at applying it. i basically coat my eyelid and just under my lower lashes in black eyeshadow. how can i give a more professional look but maintain the dark eyemake effect?Help with applying eye makeup.?
It depends on what shape your eyes are. If you have small eyes, apply a light colour to your lid and a complementry colour (your dark colour) above it, but don't line the top lid(with eye liner).

If your eyes are larger, you can apply eyeliner to the top and the bottom. But experiment first. If your eyes are close together, eyeline the outer edges of your eyes, and visa versa. Also to widen eyes apply a light colour to the inner side of your lids (outside of course)Help with applying eye makeup.?
line eyes with eyeliner, smudge, eyeshadow
wear eye gloss
Use black eyeliner to make your eyes look dark....then a gray eyeshadow only on top to give it a smokey look. Good Luck! Merry Christmas!!!!!!!
Just to have that smoky dark look you have to get white eyeshadow and silver and black....first apply the white right unrer the eyelashes then a little ovber that apply the silver..that you put the black over the two colors...you can do this on the bottom and top or your eye...and wear some eyeliner and some mascara....that will give you the rock look your looking for.
umm no clue.
1. do not use BLACK. 2. use a color that beings out you eyes. 3. and you will have a pretty look instead of a ROCK look
draw a line across you eyelids...then use a brush to smudge it...or you can use eye shadows like red or purple or green and smudge eyliner with it
