Eye makeup question?

i have brown eyes and they are medium, more round than long. i want them to look sparkly and good, but white shadow makes them look smaller, eyeliner sometimes helps and purple doesnt really make too much of a difference. anysuggestions?? they must pop!! the first thing a person would notice.Eye makeup question?
Virtual Makeover. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click the link belowEye makeup question?
you might want to get a light sparky liquid eye shadow base for starters. then get a lighter(light shimmery tan maybe) eyeshadow to coat from near the eyebrow to the bottom of the eyelid also get a powdery similar colored eyeshadow and ally on the same area. in the outer corners apply and gently shade in a darker(not too dark) blue. put on a dark brown instead of black eyeliner and maybe even use a similar shaded mascara if neccessary
okay use bronzes, greens , but make sure they are shimmery. use mascara

oh yeah i just remember try almay trio for brown eyes my mom uses the one for hazel and her eyes just pop

you can find it at any drugstore

good luck
Like people already said, experiment at home one night and find some colors that look good, and fit your personality. Good Luck!!!
Try a light, shimmery eyeshadow in colors like gold, honey, peach, or copper. Make sure the color is either semi-translucent or muted in tone. Apply from lid to brow. Line your eyes in a complimentary brown or black color on the outside of your lids (never on the inner lid) and pair with the same color mascara. Here's a trick that helps smallish eyes: apply a little silver or very light colored eyeshadow CAREFULLY to the inner lower lid. Remember that eyes are more noticeable when you wear subtle lip color. Good luck!
Go to Covergirl.com and get some tips, I think you will like that site!
i believe almay has the shadows for specific eye colors to make them ';pop';

try your local convienence or drug store.

Also, if you dont, use mascara, it makes your eyes appear wide open

try a dramatic eye look, many magazines have diagrams

from the website listed:

';Dramatic eye make up application can take some practice, but the best thing about this is that you can experiment at the same time. In order to create a dramatic look for your eye makeup:

You should use an eye pencil to color your eyebrows a shade darker than their natural color.

You should try to keep your eyebrows symmetrical and follow the shape whilst creating a natural arch in the process.

Larger and More Dramatic

Dramatic eye makeup will use the application of a light shade of eye shadow from the eyelash line to the eyebrow. A darker shade will then be applied in a thin line just in the crease of the eye. This makes the eyelid look larger and more dramatic.

Stronger and More Vibrant

To make your eye appear stronger and more vibrant, apply a medium shade of eye shadow over the darker shade that you have placed in the crease of the eye. This should be blended into the eyebrow bone.

Using Eyeliner and Mascara

Your dramatic eye makeup will also include your eyeliner and mascara. Apply black eyeliner to your upper eyelashes. A thin line should be used from the inner corner of the eye. For dramatic eye looks, extend the line diagonally upward past the outer corner of the eye. On the bottom lashes you will also use eyeliner. This should be blended in making sure not to close the line at the outer corner of the eye. This will make your eyes appear smaller. Finish your dramatic eye make up application with two coats of mascara on both the upper and lower lashes. ';

Don't use white or purple. Get a nice eyeshadow palette in earth tones and experiment; use the lighter shade on the lid and the smoky shade in the crease. You can use a little sparkly light shade right on the browbone to open them up. Blend it well.

To make the eyes noticeable, eyeliner is important. Experiment with that too using a soft eyeliner pencil, especially on the lower lid.
I would suggest just a touch of white shadow at the outer corner of your eye and perhaps on the inner corner as well. It opens the eyes up. I had a great eye opening technique once by using a light yellow in the center of the lower lid, from the lash line to the crease, then used my regular color elsewhere. Also,you should use the white just under the brow, not on the whole eye.

hope this helps!
You should try buying the Almay eyeshadow kit for brown eyes. I think it's called Intense i-Color. It has three colors that it says will make your eyes really pop! You can get it at Walmart.
try to use a green eye liner under the eyes use earth tone eyeshadow aways use black eyeliner upper eye lids.when using mascara use black don,t put on just once when dry apply a couple more times. in summer time use white liner in the conner of your eye. your eyes will pop out.eyeliner away help.try the green right under the bottom of yor eye lash to .try going a store that has and a person that will give you tips.play with your makeup.you,ll get and you will end up with out standing eye,s good luck.lou ky.

Small Eyes

Use shimmery tones to bring light to the eyes. Avoid black at all costs -- it confines the eyes and looks too severe.

If your eyes are: Brown Try: Green and gold. Both shades will pick up the colored flecks found in brown eyes. Choose a slightly shimmery texture, and apply from lashlines to browbones, blending well.

These two websites suggest you use these methods. If you do use liner, just line the top lid. Another thing that makes eyes look wide awake and bright is white or translucent pencil in the corner of the eyes going slightly downward under your eye. It cause light to reflect, and makes anyones face and eyes look spectaclular.
try green, gold or mauve..NOT mettalic....if you want sparkle, smile...
