Smokey eye makeup..?

how can i create a dramatic smokey eye for night? I'm getting pretty closewith darker shadow and black eye liner, but sometimes i think i look more gothic. How do i put sexy on instead of satanic?Smokey eye makeup..?
The simple black liner and dark shadow has a tendancy to look two dimensional and heavy. The best way to do a smokey eye is to find darker shadow with sheer glimmer or glitter in it. The lighter flecks define the eyes better than just liner alone. Another way to do this is to blend a tiny bit of light highlighter shadow in the inner corners and on the top curve of the eye.Smokey eye makeup..?
i watched it on what not to wear,

start with the lightest shade of brown, then the second lightest shde( a bit darker) and then get a kind greyish black color to end the colors. then blend the colors brown and darker brown then balck and darker brown (do it softly).then put sparkles or shimmer.

then wear eyliner, but the grey balck kind
sephora sells a kit. Its all about the right smuding makeup. Start dark around your eye and fade outwards. Use your fingers to smudge with fine tipped brushes.
use like a powder eyeliner and fade from dark shadow to light on your eyelid.... it looks great!
use three eyeshadows.

white, gray and smokey black.

before you use them, draw along your top lashlines with a black liner and give it a thin line. then above the thin line, sweep the black eyeshadow above it, the gray one above that one (it should be in the middle), then the white one above that one, and it should be swept just right below your eyebrows. for a dramatic and sexier look put on some fake eyelashes, or just use masacra to give it volume.
i do the smoky look with my brown eyes, try buying maybeleen black or smoky gray and add white to blend on top below brow area, then eyeline,,,
Try this method out:

By using the gel eyeliner, the makeup is bold but stays put, that way you don't get that goth/vampire look.
