Question about eye makeup...?

i have blonde hair and semi tan skin (i wouldnt call it pale, but it isnt that dark)





my eyelashes are naturally black, so i used black mascara on them...





however, i think that pairing that with black eyeliner might be a bit too much...





is it okay to wear a different color eyeliner than mascara? like could i have black mascara and brown eyeliner?





or do you think that black eyeliner looks okay on blondes?Question about eye makeup...?
i think it looks fine..but it usually depends on ur eye color. so if u have blue eyes DONT use blue eyeliner. but if u have brown blue would look good.Question about eye makeup...?
Instead of black and brown I'd do black and grayish. like not dark, but not super light. That's just my advice.

Brown eyeliner is definately ok for you to wear. You should not be afraid of experimenting with different colour eyeliner, don't limit yourself to one shade. You could try a smokey blue or charcoal just make sure that you smudge it really well into your lashline.
You can pair any color eyeliner with any color mascara, and believe it or not, even blue. The trick is to use a light touch with the eyeliner and blend it so you don't have a stark solid line all around your eyes. That looks stupid in ANY color, and also makes your eyes look smaller. And really, do you really think anyone could tell if you were wearing Jet Black mascara vs. soft black mascara? Or even brown, it's almost impossible to tell the difference. Black is black. The point of mascara is really just to darken the lashes and separate them so they look more lush. I think you would be surprised at the different nice looks you could create using different colors.

for your skin tone its better to use brown eyeliner...but if you prefer black go right on ahead
The one thing that I have been told regarding mascara color is that true black mascara should only be used on darker brunettes and people with medium to dark skin, and that dark brown or brownish black looks better on those with lighter hair and a lighter complexion. (This tends to look more natural.) Also, it's fine to wear an eyeliner in a different shade than your mascara. In fact, most people do. I don't have a shade of mascara for every shade of eyeliner I own. I always wear my black mascara with every eyeliner I wear.

Black eyeliner is okay. Just smudge it a little if you think it doesn't look good, or put on a little eyeshadow.
I would do all black or all brown. I prefer black because it makes your eyes stand out more. You know, there are different shades of black that you can get if you feel that it is too much black. You can pick a dark black mascara and a slightly lighter black eyeliner. Good luck with your search for the right shades!
