tell me how this sounds to you, and if it doesn't sound ok, what eyeshadow colors from mac would you replace it with?
club with carbon on the outer corner, blended in.

sounds good but then I don't really know what you look like. carbon is a very matte color so it will be hard to blend unless you have the right tools.Mac combination [eye makeup]?
:) Why dont you give green shadow a try, something with a bit of shimmer. Since you have Hazel eyes, Green or Copper shadows will make your eyes pop!
I would replace Carbon with those color(green tone or Copper tone) MAC pigment usually blends best, and since Club has a bit to shimmer/sparkles in it with a bit of dark dark green hue, i think green shadow is a way to go :)
I hope this works out.
ps. I can't give you the name of the colors since i don't know how light/dark your eye color is and what shows more in your hazel, some people has more green tone, some had more brown tone :)
