DEFINE:

Pick a neutral base and put it lightly over your eye, behind the lid just below the brow. Get a mellow, darker color and put that just on the eyelid. In the eye crease, put a bold color. It should be the same tone as the mellow color, or a dark neutral. To end it, put on some eye liner and under liner, then give a light flick of mascara.

Use a dark, but soft lip gloss.

Use a light blush.

For this look, your focus is mostly the eyes.

OPEN:

Use a soft, light color and cover your lid. Gradually put it behind the lid higher and higher as you move away from the crease. End it slightly past the lid. In the crease, put a very light color, such as a pale neutral or white. Also put some behind the lid near the crease. Dash some of the same color below the eye near the upper apple of your cheek. Get a darker shade and smoothly blend it to the outer-eye. Mascara just the tips of your eyelashes.

Use a bright lipstick or lip gloss.

Use a soft, almost cheery blush.

For this look, the focus is your smile.New eye makeup ideas ?

hey, almay makes products that work for your specific eye colour. i would suggest going and picking up the eye shadow, eyeliner, and mascara from them. they are relatively cheap and are pretty good quality.

place the lightest shade of eye shadow right under the brow bone and in the tear dot. this will add light to your eyes and make them look much more awake and alert. next apply the medium shade from the lash line to the crease. then apply the darkest shade to the crease to make your eyes pop. then smudge the eyeliner into the upper lash line all the way across. then smudge the eyeliner across the lower lash line only halfway to make your eyes appear bigger. then apply mascara on the upper lash line by holding the wand horizontally and wiggle it at the roots, and work your way up. then hold it vertically and work on the outside lashes on the top, or any other lashes you would like to stand out more. then, still holding the brush vertically, use it on the bottom lashes and work your way across. don't use the brush horizontally on the bottom row of lashes, it doesn't give you as good of an effect.

ps. i don't know the shape or size of your eyes, different eye shapes and sizes need different types of application. i described the best one that looks universally good. you may want to google your eye shape and figure out a couple of tricks specific for your eyes and incorporate them into my answer.
have you tried the smokey eye look?

you can pull that off pretty much all the time.

and try doing something bright. i reccomend the hip and max factor eyeshadows. they don't have any dull colors.

just experiment them! you'll love it. (:
