Gothic eye-makeup?

How would i do this?

No stupid, biased opinions either. Answers containing substance would be nice.

Pictures would be nice, too.Gothic eye-makeup?
First of all, you don't really have to do this but you could use some foundation to make you look paler.

But I don't think this part is really that necessary.

You don't always have to use black, black, and more black.

You can actually involve colours.

So if you want put some either dark (black) or bright coloured (any other colour) eyeshadow on just past your crease line, and then also put some on at the bottom, line your bottom lid just where the roots of your lashes are.

And then, use black eyeliner and just line the whole of your eye, you may want flicks at the outer corner of your eye (with eyeshadow and eyeliner maybe?).

And basically just put lots of eyeliner on.

Uhmm, finish off with some coats of mascara, and then to top it off maybe black/red lipstick/gloss.

Uhh, idk what else.

Just look up pictures on Google or Photobucket of gothic make up.

Gothic make up usually goes a bit overboard, so you might want to do that...Gothic eye-makeup?
Here you go:

From what I remember, purple eyeshadows and black heavy eyeliner all around the eye and winged a bit at the end of the eye. I used to use the purple eyeshadow as a blusher along the cheekbones, not on the apples of the cheeks and a very dark purple lipstick. I sometimes used to ring the changes with pink eyeshadow (very bright) as well. I think I used pale powder and things so I looked a bit dead too.

The only hangover from my goth days (about 15-20 years ago) is my Rouge Noir nail polish (Chanel)!
put a lot of black colors around your eyes (eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, etc)
Black.
Achieving Goth is more of an attitude than a make-up style. Done badly, Gothic make-up can look painfully stupid. It is a high maintenance endeaver.

First you will want your face to look pale, not made up with a lot of white make-up. Use a very light (pale) creamy foundation and apply a light color translucent powder. Do not over powder your face and do not stop your make-up at your jaw line. With this look you must be able to blend very well down your neck. Use a soft black (charcoal) or deep auburn liquid eyeliner on your eyelids. You can use a charcoal eyeliner pencil on your lips as a lipliner.

Find a shade of lipstick that everyone is not wearing. Perhaps a deep purple rather than blood red. Also, use the same color on your long nails. Take a look at Myrtille color lipstick and nail polish. If you decide to go with the soft black colors, Oriental color eye shadow would also look very good.

You want to strive to look like a natural, beautiful Goth, not someone going out for Halloween.
