I want to take some goth style photos, and I've seen ones where they have black running eyeliner or other type of eye makeup. Basically it looks like they're crying. I've tried it before and it either doesn't run at all or looks very strange and ugly. I'm wondering, what type of makeup runs really smooth like that? So far I've tried regular mascara, black eyeshadow, and liquid eyeliner, but it never looks good.
Here's kind of what I had in mind: http://www.robinwood.com/Catalog/SecondL鈥?/a>Goth / runny eye makeup?
use black eye shadow on top of an eyeliner.it gives it a smudgy/smoky effect plus it runs better. black eyeshaow will give it the bleeding effect and you can blend it with visine to make it look goth.. thats how they do it. i have goth friends
the cheaper the brand of eyeshadow the better. try wet n wild. it runs better.Goth / runny eye makeup?
mine just sort of does that on its own because when i yawn my eyes water. it doesnt look nearly that dramatic, so maybe just use a bit more eyeliner and water...it you can make your self tear up it will end up looking more natural.
take the time to look up some nicely done goth eye makeup too though. im personally not a fan of the runny look, because if im in a good mood i dont wanna look like ive been crying.
Well first of all that is not a real person, but I think the only way to master that look is to actually cry, and if you don't like crying you can put visine in and it might help get your eyes watery. Hope I Helped.
i agree with jessikah
you don't wanna look goth. thats freaky.
You put on think eye liner.
Get some water on your fingers
Go to your lower eyelid and drag all the eyeliner down.
*Or*
You can draw it.
wow...this is dumb

It looks actually very natural , you can barely notice, but this is like beach-y style.
Apply eyeliner on your top lid making the end thicker, If you are going to wear mascara make the end lashes longer. But the model here didn't put much makeup, just put eyeliner around the rims on the eyes like this shape %26lt; %26gt; , So the eyeliner is thicker when it extends. Put on some bronze eyeshadow and light gold highlight on your brown bone, Goodluck! P.S; This look is very natural , so don't put heavy eyeliner. Can anyone tell me how they did her eye makeup? Well, I think she is an android and her makeup is painted on. But it looks like she has a matte foundation, a slightly nude lip, black mascara and eyeliner, dark grey eyeshadow and a highlighter on the brow. Probably a bronzer over all.
It looks like she has hardly any make up at all. But I would think she has a light coat of powder foundation, bronzer, brownish gold eyeshadow, brown eyebrow pencil and nude lipstick.

Eye makeup help?? please?
i have brown eyes and i dont know what eyeshadow to wear on my eyes or how to do my eyes. i want colors that dont make me look like a clown but make my eyes stand out and make me look prettier. i want it to enhance the way i look not make me look worse. any ideas or pictures??Eye makeup help?? please?
Brown eyes can work with almost any color. Colors like blues, purples, and greens make the eyes seem cool while using colors like coppers, reds, and some purples give them a warm effect.
Hoped I HelpedEye makeup help?? please?
I also have brown eyes.
I personally don't usually use eye shadow, I use liquid eye liner instead.
I put a thin line along the top eye lid right beside the eyelashes. It really makes your eyes stand out but if you do this then remember to put on some eye pencil too, just to even your eyes out.
Light green eye shadow.a light application of eye shadow looks good I and alot of other guys dont like heavy eye shadow or heavy M/U in general
go with a suttle smoky look using silvers and light browns.

I have brown eyes too and purples and greens tend to look best. Just don't get the overly bright colors. Go for more subtle ones and shade in some browns with them. They have eye shadows that come in sets of 3 for specific eye colors, you can try those. It also depends on your skin color. Go a department store and ask them to try stuff on you at the make-up counter. Sometimes they do a great job.
I think Dark purples and rich greens and of course smokey browns look beautiful on brown eyes
I too have brown eyes I find that buying eye shadow in a trio (a light, medium, and dark color) works best, use the medium shade on your lid, the dark shade in the crease to shape and the lighter color close to your brows for highlight, this combo blended looks great in browns, gold, greens, and blues/greys any go great with browns. If you are looking for a more detailed info you need to include your skin tone, hair color, and colors of clothes you like to wear, covergirl will use this info to reccomend colors for you.
same here!!! i ware eyeliner on the top lid and mascara
or if you want to use eyeshadow do a dark smokey eye and use dark purple on the bottom water line
brown eyes need dark colors to make them stand out
Shades of blue and purple is the best. Here are some piks.

brown smokey eyes are perfect for brown eyed girls. i do it all the time.
but if you want something more simple, just use a shimmery or pearly white or champagne colored eyeshadow, put it all over ur top lid. then use a eyeliner (liquid or pencil) and draw a line as close to your lash line as possible, and then wing it out towards the end for that cat eyed look. go over the same line with a liner brush and same color eyeshadow as your eyeliner, to keep the color in place.
then curl ur lashes and put two coats of black mascara on. if you want a more dramatic look, go ahead and line ur water line with the eyeliner (pencil).

Badass Eye Makeup?
What are some really cool ways to make up eyes? i mean, i usually line my top and botton lids with black liqui dliner, and then i use mascara, but i would like something different to spice up my routine.
I want it to really stand out, but not look hookery or trampy.Badass Eye Makeup?
Use liquid eyeliner.Badass Eye Makeup?
ummm...watch Avril Lavigne's music videos Hot and When your Gone she has really cute eye makeup and watch Paula Deanda's music video Easy hers is soooo cute!
Instead of black liquid, try using a 'powder' liner - Revlon has a great line called 'Bedroom Eyes' , the 'smokin' color is a dark charcoal grey. I love cream liner but it never stays on for me but I have found if I use the cream liner with a brush then take some of the powder liner on the brush afterwards and apply it it's a great 'smokey eye' look. The powder clings to the cream and they both stay put, but you can smudge the powder liner a bit. Awesome look with a light grey/stone shadow.
Try adding designs like leopard print or cat eye. Or add some bright eyeshadow on top and bottom, in addition to eyeliner. I like winging out my eyeliner after applying it all around, and adding little dots underneath along my eye, then applying bright eyeshadow on top and bottom. I also like putting leopard spots from the middle of my eyelid, upward towards my eyebrow in a sweeping pattern. Check out Livejournal and search for groups that have ';eyeshadow'; as an interest (you don't have to sign up to do it). I like the eyeshadow sluts group. LOTS of ideas there. Hope this helps.

Any eye makeup ideas?
okay so im just wondering if anyone has any ideas for eye makeup i can use
i have greenish eyes, pretty light skin and red hair, ive gotten my makeup done a few times and love how they do my eyes, but when i try eyeliner on, it looks too dark, how can i put it on, but not make it look so dark against my skin? and any other makeup tips would be great too, thanks :)Any eye makeup ideas?
look on youtube
they have people who give tips and will show you step by step
look at xsparkageAny eye makeup ideas?
use a liner pencil to line your lids then use a brush to blend it out so its not too dark =]
well, if your putting eyeliner on the top you want to put it as close to your lashline as possible.
Then you can take an angle brush and smudge it OR put an eyeshadow over it so it softens the look of the eyeliner.

Eye makeup for grey eyes?
help?Eye makeup for grey eyes?
try black eyeliner. it would look really good.Eye makeup for grey eyes?
i have greyish blue eyes and i have found that violet shadow works wonders!! on the upper lid and i put a little under as well... make sure its a little shimmery and highlight by putting it by tear ducts. i use a charcoal color to line the bottom lid.
my favorite is bobbi brown's lilac shimmer wash eye shadow
Well a lot of colors are good for grey eyes, green, gold, pink, blue, anything really.. I especially like blue for grey eyes.. have fun experimenting with somethings you like, you simply cant go wrong!
Good luck!
-Jo
I'm not absolutely positive, but I would treat your color eyes the same as you would if they were blue, or even brown so I think that plum/purple tones, and browns would make your eyes pop!
good luck :)
true purples are great but try olive green or magenta (hot pink)
but blend and easy does it if its high pigmented shadows like MAC sephoria makes some nice ones that are a bit sheer have fungray hair

Eye Makeup for Hazel Eyes?
Whats the best eye makeup (eyeshadow: eyeliner: mascara) for hazel eyes, fair skin, and brown hair?Eye Makeup for Hazel Eyes?
Hazel eyes are really pretty anyway...but to bring out the color more..you need colors like plum...and browns...Try putting a light plum/purple on your lids..and then putting a coordinating darker color just about the crease above the lids. You can do the same with brown tones. You can also add plum/purple/raisin eyeliner for a more contrasting affect. You need to stay away from Blues, and Greens....Hope this helps!!!Eye Makeup for Hazel Eyes?
This is perfect for me, because that's what i look like too.
eye shadows: brown, pink, purple, green, and blue look amazing.
Eyeliner: black or brown, or Violet and sometimes blue.
mascara:brown
p.s. Sparkle eye shadow looks really good, it makes your eyes twinkle.
